    The Carlsberg Graduate program is a stepping stone for young talents with Commercial background who are ambitious about their career and interested in international experience.

    The Carlsberg Graduate Program is a two-year program that consists of three rotations in different commercial positions across Sales, Marketing, Insights and other key functions. You will face a steep learning curve and exposure to real and tangible challenges and be part of a highly international and diverse work environment.

     

    International Commercial Graduate Track

    Based out of Copenhagen HQ the program takes you through both marketing and sales roles across different functions, business units and sales channels. Rotations will most often include an international stint in one of our markets outside Denmark.

    Rotations can be within;

    Marketing rotation. In the marketing rotation, you will be supporting the development of brand strategies and plans for how to develop and win new markets and consumers. Ensure implementation in the local markets and follow up on results.

    Enabler rotation. In this rotation, you will be assigned to one of the enabling teams, which includes Digital Marketing, Sales Excellence, Commercial Insights, and Value Management. The purpose is to gain understanding of how enablers work as an integrated part of executing a strategy.

    Commercial rotation. In the commercial rotation you will be supporting the sales function in developing current and new business opportunities in the local markets, meeting with customers and partners in order to grow profit and brand equity.

    Project rotation. Responsible for implementing a specific project locally or supporting a local company with implementing the market or brand strategies and plans. This rotation is developed together with the graduate depending on actual projects and possibilities in the local markets.

You are a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, with an ability to influence and excite internal and external stakeholders and secure buy in to concepts and program.     The Carlsberg Graduate Program is a two-year program consisting of three rotations in different positions across functions and business units in order to ensure a steep learning curve and exposure to new challenges. Within the program, there are several tracks related to either Commercial, Export, Supply Chain, Digital or Finance. This advert is for the Finance track and we are looking for three Finance Graduates. The Carlsberg Graduate program is a stepping stone for young talents with Commercial background who are looking for an ambitious career with international possibilities.

     

    Finance Graduate Track

    Based in Group Finance, in the Central Office (HQ) of the Carlsberg Group in Copenhagen, the program takes the graduate through the different operations within a multinational finance function. You will be exposed to Accounting, Financial planning, and Management reporting. During the two rotations in Group Finance, you will also be working cross-regions and markets. The third rotation will be in in a market outside the Central Office.

     

    Rotations can be within;

     

    Financial Planning & Analysis rotation: In the controlling rotation you will, among others, support the team in creating, analysing and commenting on the financial reports (for Carlsberg’s Executive Committee). You will get the opportunity of working directly with senior management, both on a recurring basis, as well as for ad hoc finance projects. In addition, the finance graduate will drive the financial and business controlling of the Carlsberg Group’s non-commercial companies. Finally, the finance graduate will be involved in projects and assignments directly related to the objectives of Group Finance.

     

    Accounting rotation: In the Accounting rotation, you will be part of Group Consolidation, where you will get knowledge in the Group’s financial consolidation system and processes. You will get a deep dive into accounting practices, through ensuring the company’s financials are ready for internal and external use. Moreover, you will constantly communicate with subsidiaries, regions and other functions in headquarters during the consolidation process. Last but not least, you will be exposed to and participate in the Annual Report process, requiring cooperation with Auditors and preparation of financial statements.

     

    Project rotation abroad: Typically, the project rotation is one of the markets outside Denmark where you will be responsible for implementing a specific project locally or supporting a subsidiary with local finance operations. The project rotation abroad offers the opportunity to utilize the skills acquired during the program, and to contribute to the running of the local business. This rotation is developed together with the graduate depending on actual finance projects and possibilities in the local markets.

    BEING AN E-COMMERCE IBT

    In BESTSELLER, each of our brands has their own online shop, and, on a daily basis, they are all supported and guided by our central E-commerce Department in Amsterdam. As an E-commerce IBT, you will have the opportunity to be trained within and learn the perspectives of e-commerce locally at a brand as well as centrally to obtain an understanding of both areas and how they are linked together.

    The E-commerce specialist field is broad, covering many different aspects from the more fashion-related areas to the more technical functions. We match your individual competencies and wishes but strive to ensure that you are exposed to the comprehensive picture of E-commerce in BESTSELLER.

    This year, we are looking for three different profiles to join us as IBTs within E-commerce:

    • An IBT with experience in E-commerce to join SELECTED. The focus will be to improve selected.com, analyse markets to find commercial opportunities and this is where an analytical and independent approach to your tasks along with strong communication skills will serve as a great advantage.
    • An IBT with analytical skills and good product knowledge to join our brand ‘name it’ within the field of buying and planning. The focus will be on selecting the right styles for the online shop and marketplaces, follow up on the sales, activating non-selling products and analyse products being returned and the reason behind this. If you have some practical retail experience this will be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
    • An IBT with interest in customer experience management with a focus on customer development and integration of online and offline business. You will work on omnichannel business development and related projects, including business case development, risk assessment, marketing communication, competitor and market analysis and go-to-market strategy.

    YOUR PROFILE

    You have an ambitious and result-oriented yet humble personality. You have an analytical approach to things and a flair for numbers. You have excellent coordination skills and are able to work in a structured manner and meet deadlines. It is essential that you have a proactive, energetic and enterprising mind-set and are not afraid to independently seek new solutions and act on them. You are a strong communicator and you have a cooperative approach to your work.

    Your additional qualifications:

    • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within E-commerce, Online Marketing or business economics e.g. Business Administration or similar
    • International experience from studying or working abroad

    • An IBT with experience in E-commerce to join SELECTED. The focus will be to improve selected.com, analyse markets to find commercial opportunities and this is where an analytical and independent approach to your tasks along with strong communication skills will serve as a great advantage.
    • An IBT with analytical skills and good product knowledge to join our brand ‘name it’ within the field of buying and planning. The focus will be on selecting the right styles for the online shop and marketplaces, follow up on the sales, activating non-selling products and analyse products being returned and the reason behind this. If you have some practical retail experience this will be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
    • An IBT with interest in customer experience management with a focus on customer development and integration of online and offline business. You will work on omnichannel business development and related projects, including business case development, risk assessment, marketing communication, competitor and market analysis and go-to-market strategy.

    YOUR PROFILE

    You have an ambitious and result-oriented yet humble personality. You have an analytical approach to things and a flair for numbers. You have excellent coordination skills and are able to work in a structured manner and meet deadlines. It is essential that you have a proactive, energetic and enterprising mind-set and are not afraid to independently seek new solutions and act on them. You are a strong communicator and you have a cooperative approach to your work.

    Your additional qualifications:

    • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within E-commerce, Online Marketing or business economics e.g. Business Administration or similar
    • International experience from studying or working abroad
    • Experienced Excel user
    • Fluent in English - both spoken and written. For the position at SELECTED, language skills in German or Dutch will be an advantage, but not a requirement
    • Experience from the fashion industry and/or e-commerce is an advantage

Hvad er graduate

Når man er færdig med sin uddannelse på bachelor niveau, så kan man fortsætte som kandidat. Men før man bliver færdig som kandidat, er det en rigtig god idé, at søge om et job som graduate.

På den måde vil du få en fin introduktion på arbejdsmarkedet, og du kan være sikker på, at din kommende arbejdsgiver er særdeles professionel samt har gjort sig nogle seriøse tanker om, hvordan du lærer mest muligt på kort tid.

Virksomhederne gør det ikke kun for at hjælpe dig. Virksomheder som tilbyder graduate programmer gør det også for at få direkte adgang til at screene de bedste graduates, som vil blive tilbudt rigtige gode jobs i virksomheden, når graduate programmet er ved at være gennemført.

Graduate program

Et graduate program kan variere i længde. Et graduate program tager som hovedregel et par år. I løbet af programmet kommer du typisk rundt i flere forskellige afdelinger, så du opnår mange forskellige kompetencer og ikke mindst et helhedssyn på, hvordan virksomheden fungerer.

Indenfor graduate programmer er der også nicher, idet at du som kandidat allerede befinder dig på specialistniveau. Eksempelvis findes der graduate programmer såsom:

  • - Graduate program IT
  • - Graduate program ingeniør

I løbet af dit graduate forløb, kan du forvente sparring fra en mentor, og forløbet vil alt andet lige være ret intenst – både i forhold til læring og antal timer, som du bruger på jobbet. I nogle virksomheder tilbydes som en del af graduate programmet en arbejdsperiode i udlandet, eksempelvis i en dattervirksomhed.

Graduate job

Efter endt graduate uddannelse, så er det ikke usædvanligt at du bliver tilbudt et fuldtidsjob – med mindre at enten du eller virksomheden har mistet interessen for modparten under vejs i graduate forløbet.

Både før du starter, men også i løbet af dit graduate forløb, vil virksomheden se på og vægte dine akademiske resultater i form af dine karakterer – men også dine personlige egenskaber. Det er jo vigtigt, at du føler dig motiveret i dit graduate job.

I dit graduate job skal du bevise en personlig udvikling, at du er ambitiøs, og du kan skabe synlige resultater for virksomheden.
